The release of this patch marked the 3rd birthday of Poison Apple Printshop
which was in 2013! It is a design dedicated to conjuring your own magic and helping to creating something powerful and whole. Seven
hands issue from a wreath each holding a dagger pointed towards the center of the woven ring. The hands belong to magical beings such as sorceresses and witches. Each athame, or ceremonial dagger, that they hold is slightly different alluding to the fact that the magical path is different for every practitioner. The wreath, a symbol of growth and wholeness, represents the magic folk who came before us and the knowledge they uncovered and passed down. Like the branches entwined, their spirits and energy lives on through us when we evoke the powers within. Lastly, there are seven hands, a number symbolic of perfect order and a complete cycle. Seven represents the reconciliation and union of the triangle (3) and square (4), or heaven and earth, the union of ethereal and mortal. This patch will bring knowledge, protection, and wholeness to whomever possesses it.The Coven’s Ring
